　　报告人简介：

　　（1）Nicola Cooley 博士，现为墨尔本大学土地与环境学院研究员（Research Fellow）。2001年获东伦敦大学（University of East London）博士学位。 研究领域为：多年园艺学（perennial horticulture） 和葡萄生理学（viticulture physiologist）。同时，对农作物产量及质量评估具有深入的研究。曾获得GWRDC、IBES等多项资助。发表学术论文20余篇。

　　Nicola Cooley started her career as an analytical chemist working for the pharmaceutical industry. She completed an honours degree and went on to study for her PhD at the University of East London and Cambridge University. She has worked in crop physiology for the past 12 years, specialising in plant stress.

　　（2）Sally is a PhD student at the University of Melbourne, in the faculty of Land and Environment. She completed her undergraduate studies in Agricultural Science and Commerce (with honours in the Agricultural Science) in 2006. She then worked for a bank as an Agribusiness analyst for 3½ years before returning the Melbourne University of Melbourne. She grew up on a farm 2 hours north of Melbourne.
