受我校张雅林副校长邀请，美国伊利诺伊大学Dr. Chris Dietrich和Dr. James Zahniser来我校访问并作学术报告：

　　报告题目1：An Introduction to Molecular Methods in Insect Systematics

　　报告题目2：Phylogeny and Classification of the Leafhopper Subfamily Deltocephalinae and Phylogeny, Taxonomy, and Historical Biogeography of the Tribe Chiasmini

　　报告人：Dr. James Zahniser

　　报告人简介：James Zahniser is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Illinois Natural History Survey.  He received his Ph.D. in Entomology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008.  He studies the phylogeny, classification, historical biogeography, and taxonomy of the leafhopper subfamily Deltocephalinae.

　　报告人简介：Chris Dietrich is Systematic Entomologist at the Illinois Natural History Survey. His activities are Insect systematics; evolution, biodiversity, and conservation of leafhoppers and related insects; curator of Insect Collection and his research are Ongoing projects include phylogenetic analysis and revision of the family-group taxa of Membracoidea (leafhoppers and treehoppers); revisionary studies within several leafhopper subfamilies; inventory and conservation of grassland insect biotas.
